Using tracking parameters

UTM parameters are tags added to a URL — and when the link within your email is clicked, the interaction is tracked in Google Analytics.

You can easily add a UTM parameter to your CartStack campaign for deeper campaign tracking. 

Once the UTM link is built out, you will need to add it to your CartStack emails, found on this page of your account:

Hit 'Edit Email' and navigate to the link you would like to append the parameter to. 

We count a sale as recovered if a customer who abandoned their cart has engaged with our email in some way. That means they need to at least open the email, or even click through the email, and then complete their purchase.
