Passing Custom Variables to the Email Template

It is possible for CartStack to pass custom variables from your checkout pages to include in the email templates, such as name, order number, room names and so on. The data items can be passed in one of two ways:

If you would like us to grab that info from our side, we can do so. A good rule for the information we can grab is that the data itself has to be contained on the page (in a specific HTML selector) or contained in the URL.

You pass the info to CartStack:

If the information cannot be grabbed from CartStack, you can pass the information to us via a data item. More info on how to do that here!
