Browse Abandonment Campaign
The Browse feature will allow CartStack to track what products, rooms, or other specified pages your customers are looking at.
If they abandon the website before hitting the checkout flow, CartStack will send an abandonment email with the items the customer was viewing. In order to send emails, this feature will require a customers captured email address which is why it works effectively with our Retain suite of features for e-commerce and hospitality.
Getting Started with Browse
To get started with the Browse campaign, simply submit a request through the Browse page in your dashboard, or directly to support@cartstack.com.
The support team will follow up to discuss any next steps (if necessary) with your customized setup, and again when the campaign is active!
Testing the Browse Campaign
After the Browse Campaign has been integrated, you can perform the following steps to test it. You can make further edits to your Browse email on the Browse Abandonment page.
- Ensure you have an email loaded in your Browse campaign here.
- If the campaign is in Test Mode, ensure you have the email address you are testing with specified on the settings page.
- Navigate to your website and clear the cache or use a new private/incognito browser window.
- Enter your email in any field that allows for text entry. (newsletter,log-in, etc)
- Browse to different product pages across your site.
- Close the page and view the Send Queue in your CartStack portal.
Your email address will show up in the list and you can click the magnifying glass next to the email to view it.
